A truckload of clothing is sent to landfill every second. This is not sustainable. That's why we work with manufacturers that do things differently. Every product from our brand is designed to be made into something new when worn out so the material stays in use.<\/span><\/p>

At Gaen, we work with manufacturers who share our values. That means designing out waste. When products you've purchased from us become worn out or are no longer your style, you can send them back to be remade into something new instead of sending them to landfill. They'll be transformed into recycled yarn like this and woven into new t-shirts and jumpers to give them a new life.<\/span><\/p>

What do you do with the clothes you no longer wear? If you're finding any of our products in the back of your wardrobe, you can give them a new life by sending them straight back to us via the QR code in the care label. Clothes that are donated or sent to recycling banks often still end up in landfill but when you send worn out items back to us, they get remade by our suppliers instead. Our super soft organic cotton never goes to waste.<\/span><\/p>

Because our products are designed to work in harmony with the environment, they're made from natural materials like organic cotton. This makes it easier to recycle them again, and again, each time they're worn out. You can send back any of our products to be remade by scanning the QR code on the inside label and you'll get a reward to spend on your next purchase too. It's our way of saying thanks for supporting sustainable solutions.<\/span><\/p>

When a product arrives back, it is sent off to our partners to be shredded. Shredded material is broken down and respun into Remill yarn (50% recycled organic cotton and 50% organic cotton), dyed, then cut and sewn. The new Remill product is ready to be printed on demand, just like our other products, and can be sent back, again and again, to keep material in the loop.<\/p>

All of our products are designed to be sent back when worn out so they never enter landfill. And it's easy to do - simply scan the QR code in the care label and follow the freepost returns instructions. You\u2019ll receive store credit for the items you send back as a thank you from us, and your items will be remade into new products, keeping the material in the loop and out of landfill. Simple, sustainable, circular.<\/span><\/p>
